The mercado San Juan Arcos de Belem has been operating in Mexico City since 1955 in the indigenous street market of the Moyotlán neighborhood. To date, it is one of the busiest for shopping or even staying to eat right on the spot.

The mercado San Juán is between calles de Arcos de Belem and Lopez. The market used to extend as far as the La Joya shoe shop. Four markets bearing the name San Juan originated from this street market, all located within the historical center of Mexico City.
