It is located in the middle of the flat plains and appears as a beacon for the valley and the winds, which reinforces the importance of its presence in this region, which is the gateway to Abu Dhabi from its northeastern side.

The Fort extending from east to west with a length of about 20 meters, and from north to south with a length of about 10 meters. It consists of two floors and a gated roof.

The entrance is about 15 meters from the front facade of the castle in all directions. Although its width does not exceed about 3 meters, it seems harmonious in shape with the construction of the castle. Inside, a small recess or threshold is made before reaching the wooden door.

The entrance door is made of wood, and reinforced with iron beams that give it strength and durability. These iron beams are fixed with large screws with thick heads.

The fort's rectangular shape, which shrinks as we go up to the first floor and then to the roof, gives it strength first and allows those standing on the roof to see the whole bottom of the castle and who is standing in front of it.

The basement floor is characterized by the absence of windows, but rather slots for air and light spreading on its facade.

On the first floor of the fort there is a rectangular lobby with two halls on either side, and in the corner of the northwest atrium a staircase leads to the second floor that leads to another inner atrium.
