A Different World

These six women artists (Danielle Blanding, Julia Dailey, Arieanne Evans, Devin Morrison, Olivia Satterfield, Kori Thompson) investigate what happens when 21st century artists explore the new issues of today, including science, religion, political and social reform, identity, and the role of art. As they, as well as society, cope with this daily uncertainty, this works concern survival, awakening, and monotonous existence.

"Five Three Seven" is based on Danielle Blanding's method for dealing with their own anxieties. "Breathe in for five. Hold it for three. Breathe out for seven."

Part of dealing with their own panic disorder, feeling the sculptures helps the artist cope. They extended this over to the audience.
