Leap Year
Leap Year is MINT’s flagship program, having served 30 artists since 2011. Each year a selection panel of Atlanta arts leaders review applications submitted by over 75 visual artists from across the city. The panel selects five diverse, emerging artists from the Atlanta area to participate in the year-long fellowship program.

As an Artist
Brown's work, intentionally vast in subject; challenges stigmas of mental health in black communities, perceived notions of labor & leisure, ancestral history and investigates the use of language as foundation for larger cultural narratives.
