In addition to the permanent and temporary exhibitions of projects dedicated to women, ME and WE hosts a rich program of events, realized with the participation of many contributors. In particular, thanks to the collaboration with Italian Ministry of Health, the program includes also 38 workshops about themes focused on nutrition, addressed to women.

The "Projects for women" dedicated to female health and prevention

The Atena Donna project aims to highlight the importance of up-to-date information at a time when scientific knowledge is advancing, Atena Donna intends to disseminate as widely as possible the culture of prevention, by providing information and making women aware of the necessary tools to prevent the commonest diseases. Fondazione Atena Onlus includes among its goals the promotion of research in neuroscience, the improvement of the treatment of certain neurological disorders, the facilitation of awareness and prevention concerning brain disorders.

Over the course of the centuries, the demand for water has increased. Indeed, consumption has increased six-fold in recent years, leading to the excessive exploitation of water resources, which have been further depleted by urbanization and pollution.All those working in water management are responsible for ensuring safe, clean water.The project, promoted by Fondazione AMGA and coordinated by the LIAG Laboratories is part of a broader research effort on the quality of water destined for human consumption.The majority of the project’s participants are women, both as representatives of international institutions and as the heads of the laboratories involved, which are associated with the Florence, Turin, Genoa, Como, Bologna, Cagliari, and Venice aqueducts.
