Lido Connect Zone: The arts and music from the past to the present

"Lido Connect Zone"is quite unique amongst the other Chula Art Town zones as it features the newly renovated old classic Lido theater, consisting of 2 stories of multi-purpose space. When you walk in from the main entrance at, Rama I Road side, you will find "Siam Tiger P7”, an artwork by P7 waiting to welcome the visitor.

Just a few steps from "Siam Tiger P7" in front of the door to the internal hall, you will see "Music is for life" by Gab Nicha.

Love Is Hear (Here) (2019) by Fawalai Sirisomphol (Mamablues)Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University

Inside the internal hall, there are multiple intriguing paintings such as "Love is hear (here)” by Mamablues. She expresses people's memories in a very unique way of painting style with the idea of music.

The Creation of a Rainbow (2019) by Juli Baker and SummerFaculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University

Next to "Love is hear (here)”, you will see another colorful painting of Juli baker and summer, titled "The creation of rainbow" inspired by a well known masterpiece "The creation of adam”.

Never Get Tired with “Zebra” (2019) by Pod ModerndogFaculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University

Just around the corner from "The creation of rainbow”, you will find a very minimal graphic style of painting by a well known talented artist "Pod Moderndog", “Never get tired with Zebra”, this painting faces out to the center entrance of the Lido Connect building.

Fresh and Fun (male) (2019) by Waritsara Juntacut (Waris MSV)Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University

On the opposite side of "The creation of rainbow", by the side door of the internal hall, are two interesting paintings by artist Waris. The first one is a portrait of a boy.

The second is a portrait of a girl. Both paintings, opposite to each other, welcome visitors to the main hall, via the side door of the main hall. The painting is titled "Fresh and Fun"

The Fish No. 1 (2019) by TRKFaculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University

After the first floor, we proceed to the second floor where we are greeted by two unique Thai paintings along the staircase. The first artwork is "The Fish No.1" by TRK.

The Fish No. 2 (2019) by MontemithFaculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University

The second is "The Fish No.2" by artist "Montemith”. Both paintings interact with each other and feels like the shark is chasing another fish along the stairs.
