Alvernian remembers Vanessa, one of the first members of the House of Prestige, and the debut of the House of Prestige at the House of Adonis ball, in New York City, at the Sunshine club.

Alvernian and his chosen mother, the iconic, hall-of-famer, Paris Dupree. Alvernian recounts traveling with Dupree to an event in Atlantic City. Dupree's balls were all named "Paris is Burning" which served as the name for the famous documentary on Ballroom, Paris is Burning.

Alvernian discusses the first ball in Atlanta--the Escada ball in 1996-- during MLK weekend.  Alvernian remembers how he, Diederick Escada, Tony Escada, Jack Mizrahi-Gucci, were judges of this historic ball.

Michael Gaskins Onyx was the founder of the Philadelphia Ballroom scene. Alvernian remembers his first gay parent, and and his movement across houses. 

The House of Snowbunion Ball in December 1996 — the first and original Kiki House. Alvernian discusses the origins of house formations in the Kiki scene. 

Alvernian remembers his good friend Mystery Dior, for his creation of the MAKAELLA  dip for the BQ vogue femme category. Alvernian also mentions the first annual Dorian Corey ball, a ball he created to give tribute to the icon Dorian Corey.

Alvernian recalls his experience on the microphone at Club Bunns in Baltimore, in 1994. He remembers Jack Mizrahi-Gucci as walking that night.
