The name

The name originates from a mezcal, the mezcal of the house that is called Necio. It was taken from there because in the restaurant it is believed that a fool is the one who defends his ideas, the one that doesn't beat the first one, the one that doesn't stop insisting until he reaches his objectives.

The inspiration

The idea for the restaurant started with three Oaxacan food-loving friends who wanted to open a business. With this cuisine being so popular, they saw an opportunity to share what they liked most.
