The Essence of the Recipes
Even after grandmothers have left their physical bodies, they remain in the recipes shared with their families, traditional delicacies and simple comfort foods cooked on special occasions, shared with loved ones and nostalgic memories of one’s youth. These recipes are often held close as family secrets, guarded with love and passed on to generations who have imbued the love for food from their ancestors.
