In May 2013, the Luciana Matalon Foundation hosted a solo exhibition, curated by Giovanni Faccenda, of Armodio, an artist of unparalleled quality, defined by some authoritative critics as "the Morandi of the year 2000" or even "the painter without errors".

Armodio, pseudonym of Vilmore Schenardi

In the 1960s he collaborated with patron Lily Shepley and the Forni Gallery in Bologna.

In 1972 he was contacted by the famous art dealer Philippe Guimiot: from then on, most of his paintings became part of important private collections in Europe and the USA.
