Carry A Spiritual Space - Erin Yang 6 (2022) by Erin YangGlobal Creative Graduate Showcase
"Most of the time in this world people focus on bright and “loud” designs, I prefer to let people know that quiet is also powerful."
This project combines philosophical and spatial language, looking at how healing spaces can be created in both Chinese and Western cultural contexts, finding commonalities and combining them in corresponding experiments.
"My next step will be to continue research on the theme of Chinese philosophy and culture. Under this theme I am looking at spatial and architectural directions. Next I think I will move onto other aspects, but explore and incorporate more materials and traditional techniques."
