It is located in Mezaira'a in the Western Region. It is one of the most important castles in that area and is the main center for eastern and western preparators. The date of the construction of the castle is estimated in 1800 AD, and it was the headquarters of the rule of the Sheikhs of Al Nahyan in that region.

Mezaira'a Castle is square in shape
One entrance on the west side, and from the top of the entrance we can see the half-arcades with jagged decoration, as well as the seating bench that wraps behind the entrance walls from inside and outside.

In the dome of the entrance is an opening tilted to the outside in order for rainwater to escape from inside the castle.

The facade of the door from the top, along with the upper facade of the castle, is decorated with openings that were used as mandrels and ratchets to throw arrows and spears at any attacker. From these openings, the movements of enemies are monitored.
Before entering its courtyard, there is a square castle with three circular towers, two of them to the right and left of the entrance and the third to the west.
The castle door is made of wood and decorated with geometric motifs, topped with large-headed nails.

After the castle door, there is a long vestibule covered with a roof of palm trunks, leaves and fronds. To the left of it is a door opening that leads you to the dark guard room through which you access the towers.

From the inside, the tower consists of three floors. You can reach the upper floor through a wooden ladder that leads you to a small hole in the ceiling of 60 * 60 cm2 so that you can reach the rest of the floors of the tower.

To the right of the castle square, there is a room overlooking the castle square, and in the center of its walls are openings that were used to keep things. Through this room you can reach the second tower.

Grooved Balconies
At the end of the entrance walls from the top with the end of the walls of the fortress the grooved balconies or barricades that the warrior used as a shield against the enemies and at the same time to shoot the attackers.

If we look at the roof of the castle, we will see the height of the walls in the roof 140 cm, a curtain or a cycle of columns decorated with architectural ornaments that served to repel the attack of enemies.

Muzaira'a Castle is a military fort whose mission is to monitor and defend against any external aggression, and its rooms were used as housing for soldiers.
