「擁抱」(Embrace)，是《粉樂町》2014年的正向生活關鍵詞。今年度選擇以動態詞彙為主張，象徵「行動」在粉樂町展覽內所扮演的關鍵力，也意指「親身在場」的重要意涵。
多年來策展團隊隨著粉樂町版圖，不分寒暑，穿梭在臺北東區大街小巷、推開逐扇門戶，藉由與商店合作理解社區經濟和潮流更替；廣探城市閒置的土地使用，以瞭解在地歷史和都市未來藍圖；親訪里民住戶亦如傳教士般與其細細對話，分享藝術何以啟動生活內各種美好的可能。粉樂町構築起人際流動的平臺，讓城市有了話題，也將群眾記憶與共同的故事帶入街區，這是在藝術之外，《粉樂町》仍所以獨特迷人的特質。
「擁抱」是《2014粉樂町》給予城市的行動，它意指開放、也是接納，是毫無防備的包含、不帶主見的欣然接受，也是支持與鼓勵、開放心胸面對向外視野的態度；它是藉由行動揚起溫潤的情緒感染力，並以此串聯人際溫暖的互動交流。不僅是擁抱於歡笑之際，我們也擁抱迎前而來的危機和恐懼、那些持著相反意見的質疑與猜忌、還有種種超越我們既定習慣與想像疆域之外的事物。擁抱著這些挑戰，反倒引領我們成為心靈更加強大而自由的勇者。
像一座每個夏季在臺北城東落點的臨時性移動美術館。
依街區特性安排各展出空間，或聚合、或分散的規劃出適合步行腳程的藝術地圖，年覆一年帶領觀眾在城市漫行。往年，《粉樂町》展覽範圍多以忠孝東四段與敦化南路一段之十字腹地為範疇，空間類型由咖啡廳、服飾店、行道路樹、企業空間、髮廊、書店、廣場…等日常生活與消費場域為主，並探尋都市內少見之閒置與臨時使用空間，將其轉化為當代藝術展場。2014年《粉樂町》除了仍持續經營街區巷弄的美學經驗以外，更擴增場域，以濃縮而凝聚的形式，將松山文創園區增設為其中一處焦點展域，包含古蹟、商場等空間共計囊括近20處展點。
