Cheremosh National Nature Park, located in the Chernivtsi region, is one of the largest territories in Ukraine untouched by human activity. The park offers a magnificent view of the Ukrainian Carpathians, pierced by Bilyi (White) Cheremosh, Perkalab, and the Sarata rivers.
Clause Percalab Pond is a dam on the river used for rafting the forest through low-water mountain rivers. Clause Percalab holds 180 thousand cubic meters of water and is more than 140 years old.
In the 1970s, the last forest raft was performed, and now the Clause is home to some Red Book species, such as the crested newt and the alpine newt.
