I was born in NYC but grew up in Orlando, Florida. I have lived in North Carolina, Georgia and South Korea. Eventually the Army brought me back to Texas.
My art techniques include digital art, 2D/3D digital painting, vector drawing and dynamic painting.
My inspiration behind my work...
originates from my life experiences that include the early passing of my mother and father, and my ADHD that went undiagnosed for most of my life and how I was seen as an outcast due to it.
My daughter who is also diagnosed with ADHD has been a great influence on my art.
My work reflects...
how my mind, an ADHD mind, processes the emotions, feelings, and side effects of living with this state of mind.
My neurodiversity...
impacts my work and my life in various ways. Some days I can focus and complete tasks. Other days, which are most days, my ADHD weighs me down with more thoughts at once than my mind can focus on at a time.
I become entrapped in a web of ideas, thoughts and tasks...
that continue to grow and pile up the more I attempt to accomplish anything. Some days it feels like I am driving down a road with endless speed bumps. Time for me feels like its passing in a blink of an eye and before I know it the day is over but my tasks and goals are not.
