3D Printing the Future
Created by the Science Museum in London, it presents in more than 300 objects the social transformation produced by 3D printing technology.

3D Printing the Future
It introduces the world of digital manufacturing, a group of technologies that have impacted industrial and commercial processes in recent decades. As you will see in the exhibition, very soon these technologies will directly impact our health, the artifacts and objects that we use daily and even the way we produce art.
The exhibition wants to reveal the potential of these technologies as they formed ecosystems of dialogue and creation between artists, designers, engineers, and programmers.
3D printers make objects using the three-dimensional representation of geometric data by computer.
In the exhibition, we analyze the latest advances in 3D printing. You'll find stories related to four different types of 3D printing: extension printing, polymer injection printing, printing using other materials such as resin and printing using metals.
Most of the objects found in the exhibition were produced by different Mexican FabLabs located in Culiacán, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City, and even some from Spain and the United States.
The London Science Museum is one of the leading organizations in the international museum field. The scientific collections it houses, the exhibition proposals, and the educational programs it develops are a benchmark for several decades for all science centers.
Currently, the Science Museum proposes new approaches to the scientific research and technological applications proposing transdisciplinary approaches with an essential focus on their social impact, inclusive to all audiences.
