Isolation forced us to a new daily life: waiting. This is a tour of the works made during the past two years of our existence.

Pastries, a champagne cork and other random elements lie on an acrylic table. In this work by Fernanda Kusel, each element irradiates a certain strangeness, enhancing the instability of the ensemble.

A carnival of sensations that spectators can discover if they look inside.

From action and movement to the paralysis of confinement. The daily pulse, like a heartbeat that soon fades, and there we stay, still, traversed by suspense.

In her series How much emptiness can a piece of furniture fill Ariana Beilis registers actions in which her body imitates the furniture that surrounds her. Artifacts that exist when they are activated in their use. Actions performed in an awkward stillness.

From isolation to openness. Finally. Even still, the promise of returning to public life brings the suspicion that nothing will be the same.

We talk about a “new normality”. The questions multiply. Was there any normality anyway? To what does this new reality oppose? Who configures it?
