The Terra Gallery, an exhibition space in the centre of Kikinda, for four decades, has been an important cultural hub and the venue of many exhibitions of famous artists from the country and abroad.

The International Symposium of Large-Scale Terracotta Sculpture – Terra was founded in 1982 by academic sculptor Slobodan Kojić. Since then, it has been held every year from July 1 to 31, in Kikinda.

Every year, five to eight artists from Serbia and abroad participate in the Terra Symposium. When it comes to large-scale terracotta sculpture and contemporary art, the Terra symposium is unique in the world.

The sculptures created at the Terra Symposium are exhibited for the public at annual exhibitions held at the beginning of July in the Terra Gallery, with some of them placed on display in a part of the town square.

For four decades, the Terra Gallery has been an important cultural hub and the venue of many exhibitions of famous artists from the country and abroad. The exhibition space of the Terra Gallery is 70 square meters.

The Terra Gallery hosts about fifteen exhibitions of eminent artists from Serbia and abroad annually, and during its forty years of existence, it hosted several hundred exhibitions. In addition to its exhibition activity, the Terra Gallery hosts a large number of forums, etc.

In 2018, the Terra Center received the recognition "Cultural Pattern" which is award to institutions and individuals for dedicated work. The opening of the exhibition of artworks created at the 31st International Symposium of Terracotta Sculpture Terra, 2013.
