Naive Art Sculptures

Sculptural fund consists of works by Mijo Kuzman, Bara Mustafa, Dragica Belkovic, Kresimir Trumbetas, Kata Vizvari, Zvonimir Dangubic and many others made mostly from wood.

The simplicity of the sculptor is reflected in the choice of the most common threads from everyday life. Shaping generally remains robust, with distinguished the most important peasant "attributes" - hands and feet - which are the main prerequisite for survival in a harsh environment. The compositions are symmetrical and predominantly closed form figures dissolve into the supporting elements of the basic motif.
