The ancient church of Santa Giustina in Salò houses the city museum which preserves and shows the history of the area and some important temporary exhibitions
The Archeological Museum A.Mucchi
The archaeological section of the MuSa - Museum of Salò is dedicated to the archaeological finds from the grave goods of the necropolis of Lugone, a cemetery area from the Roman era in use in Salò between the 1st and the end of the 4th century AD The necropolis was investigated between 1961-62 and 1972-76 by the Grotte Gavardo Group under the direction of the Archaeological Superintendency and gave birth to about 165 tombs, allegedly linked to an unidentified villa, which constituted a center of agricultural and commercial activities for the surrounding area.

The Nastro Azzurro Museum
The historical route of the Nastro Azzurro section starts with the Napoleonic campaigns (notable the bottle of Domenico Grisetti) and, through the Risorgimento and Garibaldi struggles that saw the intense participation of the Salodian volunteers, faces the tragedy of the First World War, from which wounds were born the Institute of the Nastro Azzurro and the idea itself of the Museum, and of the Second, for which it also offers testimonies of the most near war episodes in Salò.

The meteosismic Observatory
Through the equipment conserved and partly restored during the museum exhibition, it is possible to retrace the evolution of the observation and recording of meteorological and seismic data and phenomena from the nineteenth century instruments up to the current electronic sensors. Particularly interesting are the furnishings and equipment of the forties with the two Wiechert seismographs, still in the original location, and with the plant for the preparation, smoking and drying of the seismograms.

The Collection presents the tendencies of Italian art from the Second World War to the contemporary through some important precedents (De Pisis, Romani, Martini) and the works of major protagonists, from Fontana, Licini and Sironi, to the abstract researches of Soldati, Dorazio, Accardi, Sanfilippo, informal (Birolli, Morlotti, Vedova, Mandelli, Afro), neorealism and neofigurative positions (Forgioli, Francese, Cavaliere, Stagnoli), up to the most recent expressions.
