The students of the Gastroartology® course at Yeditepe University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts use a fresh perspective while looking at kitchen supplies, having the concept of metamorphosis as their starting point. Metamorphosis is the concept of transformation of a living being into another. Transformation, or shapeshifting, is also a concept that is discovered by visual artists and adopted as a method frequently.

Students of Gastroartology® course at the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Yeditepe University, left with an object he chooses, bell pepper in this instance. A bell pepper is not only magnificient in shape, but also in color as well. It can even be made into a sculpture! We can see the amazing shapes hidden in a pepper only after we tear it into pieces. They are new and original shapes that look like each other.
