Gastroartology®: Metamorphosis I

The students of the Gastroartology® course at Yeditepe University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts use a fresh perspective while looking at kitchen supplies, having the concept of metamorphosis as their starting point. Metamorphosis is the concept of transformation of a living being into another. Transformation, or shapeshifting, is also a concept that is discovered by visual artists and adopted as a method frequently.

In this project, students of Gastroartology® course at the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Yeditepe University, make compositions using similar forms in different colors together. Now, it is time to bring our discoveries together. In essence, what we are trying to do is abstract compositions. Installations that depend on the association of colors and forms.
