The building of the Gallery of the Museum of Naive and Marginal Art in Jagodina, built in 1929. It is protected as national treasure by the Republic Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments. In 1960, this authentic building was restored and adapted for the needs of Museum.

The interior of the museum. MNMA (Jagodina, Serbia), is a specialized and unique institution with a special programme of museum protection of the works of naïve and marginal art by collecting, studying, exhibiting, publishing and systematizing museum documentation.

Permanent exhibition. The Collection of MNMA is international in its character with more than 3500 works (paintings, sculptures, drawings and graphics) and about 400 artists from 1930s to the present day.

The Gallery was founded in 1960 in Jagodina, firstly as Gallery of Self-Taught Artists; in 1985 it received the name Museum of Naïve Art to be renamed into Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art in 2007. Today it is called Gallery of the Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art.

Annex space, permanent exhibition of sculptures. Beginnings of establishment of collection of MNMA are related to the segment of collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures done by Serbian self-taught painters in the period between two world wars and after the World War II.

Sculptures, permanent exhibition. The first valuable artworks were acquired by donation and purchase from the authors themselves, the contemporaries at the time – Janko Brašić, Milosav Jovanović, Jan Knjazovic, Emerik Feješ, Bogosav Živković and a few artists from Jagodina.

The art collection was shown to the audience for the first time in 1960, entitled Self-Taught Serbian Peasant Painters at Gallery of Central Military Club in Belgrade, and soon at the international exhibitions.
Building facade. Today, besides Serbian authors who are most numerous, the collection includes the authors from Australia, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Denmark, England, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Cyprus, Cuba, Hungary, Macedonia, Malta, Germany, etc.

Opening of the exhibition of the Second Triennial of Self-Taught Visionary Art at the Art Pavilion "Cvijeta Zuzorić" in Belgrade.
For the exhibition of the Second Triennial, 172 works by 69 artists from 20 countries were selected: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, Denmark, Israel, Iran, Japan, Cuba, Germany, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, USA, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Finland, France, Chile and Switzerland.
