The motifs of self-taught visionaries stem from the respect for the realistically perceived, while the stylisation of forms leads to complete creative surrender to fantastic dance of anthropomorphic and zoomorphic images of motifs in the works of the most significant sculptors.
These sculptures of monumental formats, gigantic columns of world classics such as Bogosav Živković, and Dragutin Aleksić, or huge sculptures of Milan and Dragiša Stanisavljević, coloured figures of birds in wood of Ferenc Kalmar and sculptures in stone.
Besides the works of domestic authors are the group of sculptures done in an inventive game of authors with creative combining of various, often untypical materials, such as striking reliefs of French artist Marc Bourlier.
