The students of the Gastroartology® course at Yeditepe University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts use a fresh perspective while looking at kitchen supplies, having the concept of metamorphosis as their starting point. Metamorphosis is the concept of transformation of a living being into another. Transformation, or shapeshifting, is also a concept that is discovered by visual artists and adopted as a method frequently.

At Metamorphosis I course, students of the Gastroartology® course at Yeditepe University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts start a journey on discovering the shapes hidden in the foods around us, transforming their shapes along the way. What a simple apple or bell pepper can tell us apart from their taste? Shall we take a look at their shapes apart from the vitamins they have? Shall we organize these shapes? Welcome to an unusual visual show with a bell pepper!
