Royal Flowers Collection Nontiscordardime (Myosotis spp.)

Reggia di Monza

Reggia di Monza
Monza, Italy

They are small plants with oblong leaves and deep blue flowers, which bloom profusely in spring and early summer gathered in clusters. It owes its name to a German legend. Two boyfriends strolled along the banks of the Danube, the boy leaned over to pick up a flower, but stumbled falling into the water; while he was drowning, he threw the flower to the shore shouting his last words to his fiancée: "don't forget me!".
