Perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Lillaceae family, so named for the fact that every year the stems of the plants dry up and die, leaving on the perennial rhizomes of scars similar to seals. From the rhizome develops a stem up to 70 cm curved, which bears oval light green leaves along its entire length. Clusters of 3 - 5 white flowers hang at the height of each leaf. It is a species widespread in all the woods of the Park.
