Royal Flowers Collection Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis)

This small delicate plant, with white pendulous flowers, is widely present in the park woods. The specific name "nivalis" refers to its early flowering in the snow. The flower is white with a green spot at the end of the three shorter tepals. In the park at the end of winter you can admire small groups along the banks of the Lambro river near the Mulino del Cantone.
