Project Star of Tomorrow

The Project Star of Tomorrow, integrates Enel Sharha Esporte e Leisure, which develops a work with young people through sports activities, used as an educational tool and also promotes access to spaces and leisure activities in cities. More than a sponsor, Enel Distribuição Rio will be an active partner in the Craque do Amanhã project, following the results and offering young people the opportunity to benefit from other social initiatives of the companies. The Project Star of Tomorrow has as godparents actress Juliana Paes and football players Ibson, Vagner Love and Paulo Henrique Ganso. The initiative recognizes football as a great educational potential, capable of contributing to the formation of citizenship, combating violence, respect for human rights and social inclusion. All the methodological action of the project is guided from the premises of UNICEF, present in the Guide of Sport and Citizenship. They are: inclusion of all; collective construction; respect for diversity; integral education and towards autonomy.”We had already sponsored this project in 2012 and 2013. And again collaborating with this initiative only highlights our commitment to the development of citizenship and the promotion of the quality of life of our clients. Project #VemPraVela

Project #vempravela is an initiative of FVMEC, approved by the Government of the State of Ceará and sponsored by Enel Distribuição CE, with the support of the Collective Humanáuticos, Yacht Club of Fortaleza and Captaincy of Ports of the State of Ceará.Project #vempravela aims to increase its activities by planting the seed of Nautical Culture (sailing in dingues - sailing boat) in the State of Ceará, through the realization of more structured nautical experiences, promoting, in addition to practice, educational workshops on health, environment, well-being and ocean, with the capacity to serve a greater number of groups of people, also promoting sports tourism, local commerce, making Mucuripe Cove a leisure centre and reference in the practice of nautical sport in partnership with other modalities that use the ocean as a field of activity. There are 50 young people per experience (day), divided into two shifts. State and Municipal public schools have priority, but there will be a time to attend to those who want to participate. Activities are open to all those who sign up through instagram, email, whatsapp from FVMEC or @vempravelaoficial and are over the age of seven. All activities are provided by qualified professionals, with experience in this type of action, always cherishing the safety, health and attention of all those involved in the activities.

Sports Schooling Project

The Sports Schooling Project is a project with educational sporting event that began its execution in August 2019. The Sports Schooling Project aims to transform the lives of children and young people in the Alto da Balança and Pirambu neighborhood through actions promoted through sport and education in order to contribute to the expansion of access to sports practices through karate, judo, skate and slackline, as well as to soften the exposure of participants to social risks and promote the involvement of children and young people in social initiatives, among other educational objectives, seeking to awaken in these actors the protagonism of children and youth in order to provoke positive changes in society. The Escolação Esportiva project, through actions promoted through educational sports, awakens in children and adolescents from public and private schools in a direct way, positive changes in society, promoting and developing social and human values of dignity, citizenship, respect, justice, etc. peace and solidarity linked to cross-cutting themes. The project takes place in partner schools and/or inspaces attached to schools that are spaces for realization of the practice.

The sea as a space for fun and inclusion. It is with this objective that the ASD project (MAR) emerges, an initiative that aims to provide well-being, quality of life and sports and social inclusion of people within Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. For eleven months, a group of 40 autists, in the age group from the age of four, will have free biweekly stand-up paddle classes at Mucuripe beach, in Fortaleza, accompanied by instructors of the water sport that is successful and has many practitioners in Ceará. Classes start on November 23, from 8 am to 10 am.The TEA project (MAR) is the result of a partnership between the Fortaleza Azul Association (FAZ), which brings together autistics and their families, with the Ceará SUP Club, specialized in the teaching and practice of stand up paddle, having been approved in the Law of Incentive to Sport of Ceará, of the Government of the State of Ceará, in a notice of the Secretariat of Sports and Youth, and counting on support from ENEL Ceará.For autistics, experiences with sports in general help in the process of inclusion, socialization and even as a therapeutic process, since they work on motor development. “We had experimental stand-up paddle classes throughout this year and we noticed how the children and teenagers liked the sport and got along well with the fact that they were at sea, on top of the board, and had a lot of fun. From this came the idea of thinking of a way to allow this experience to a greater number of people”, explains Renata Fernandes, administrative director of the Fortaleza Azul Association (FAZ), an entity that brings together more than 300 families of autistic people.The CDC (Center for Disease Prevention Control) network in the United States estimates that the prevalence of autism in children aged eight years is one child in 59. It is estimated that there are about 70 million people in this condition in the world and that, in Brazil, there are approximately two million people within Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Surf Rescuing Dreams Project

The project promotes social integration, environmental and educational responsibility through surfing providing rescue of dreams, Wellness, quality of life, reducing crime and school dropout.Surf Rescuing Dreams completed one year now in May 2020 benefiting more than 830 school-age students from 7 to 17 years and people with physical or mental disabilities who had an interest in experiencing sports practice.The project is carried out in 4 nuclei of the state of Ceará, 3 in Fortaleza on the beaches: Barra do Ceará; East West and Praia do Futuro and in the municipality of São Gonçalo on Taíba beach.The nuclei contemplated with the project received all the necessary sports material to practice, such as: boards, paraffins, decks, strapes; All of the technical team received first aid training with recyclings; monthly we performed actions with the biologist or health professionals with themes based on the Sustainable Goals; All beneficiaries received project identification blouses and bags, sunscreen and UVA protection vests.The direct impacts of the project were identified with the return of some students to school; progress in school performance; greater social integration; positive collaboration in the treatment of cases of depression; strengthening family relationships; awareness of the importance of environmental preservation; changes in socio-environmental behavior; integration between different social classes; perception of environmental value; enrichment in hygiene care; restoration of future perspective.

Hope On Wheels Project

The Hope on Wheels Project is coordinated by the Cearense Federation of Hockey and Skating — FCH, through the Law of Incentive to Sport of Ceará/Secretariat of Sports and Youth, with the support of the Energy Company of Ceará/Enel.The project develops sports practice in the modality of Traditional Roller Hockey in assisting children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability, aiming to improve and develop in students physical, emotional and social well-being, citizenship development, coexistence, discipline, self-reflection, self-perception and awareness of life and the guarantee of the right to sport and leisure for children and adolescents treated as recommended by the Federal Constitution of 1988.

Over the years, single-seat racing cars have become faster and faster: today they can reach speeds of 280 km/hr, accelerating from 0 to 100 in 2.8 seconds, with zero CO2 emissions.Formula E of Ceará - The project devises 4 sustainable prototypes of SAE formula electric cars, in partnership with 4 Brazilian universities. The idea is to use automobile sport as a means to expand teaching, research and extension spaces on electric mobility and issues related to the theme, such as research on Smart Grids and storage of energy in batteries more efficiently. The project integrates the concept of Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), an international competition modality in which undergraduate and graduate engineering students (especially Electrical and Mechanical) build formula vehicles. It has two central axes: the training of students and the sharing of technology for the development of automotive prototypes and the realization of the Electrical Formula competition.The Ceará Electric Formula, a project that unites sport, education and knowledge production in a unique action in the country and allows the creation of a unique research and technical cooperation center, since it involves, in addition to the Government of the State of Ceará, 5 higher education institutions, being the University of Fortaleza (Unifor), Federal University of Ceará (UFC), the Federal Institute of Education of Ceará (IFCE) and the International University of Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophonia (Unilab) and the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). The project also had the support of private companies such as energy distributor Enel and Cinco Elementos Produções.

The Healthy Sport Square project is a sports demonstration project aimed at sports, recreational and leisure practices for children, adolescents, young people, adults and the elderly. The project serves in the nuclei of Aerolândia, Pirambu in the region of Fortaleza and in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza, in Maracanaú, in the Timbó neighborhood.The project presents as objectives: to expand access to sports practices through athletics and its dimensions, to awaken in participants the power of self-care through sport, to contribute to the strengthening of bonds and appropriation of public spaces through sport, promoting health, integration and well-being.The Healthy Sport Square targets children from 7 years old to older adults and has an average of 624 registered beneficiaries. The project has contributed greatly to the self-esteem, self-care, self-confidence of students and families. The official launch of the project took place in Vila do Mar, in the same place that today happens one of the nuclei of the Praça, in December 2019, together with the Sports Schooling Project in Vila do Mar, carried out by the same entity, Frente Beneficente Para a Criança. The Executive Secretary of CPEPI, Roberto César, the leaders of the Frente Beneficente para a Criança, the professional team of the Escolação Esportiva project, the children and families enrolled in the project, partners, supporters and community.

Baseball Project - Throwing For Tomorrow

The Cearense Baseball Association executes the Baseball Project - Throwing for Tomorrow in partnership with Companhia Energética do Ceará — Enel, through the State Law of Incentive to Sport of Ceará with the intermediary of the Secretariat of Sports and Youth - Sejuv. The project provides a continuous and systematized action in the sports area with emphasis on baseball, which allows access to sport as a factor of training and personal transformation for children and adolescents benefiting from the project. The proposed training process, complementary to formal basic education, aims, above all, to: Offer baseball as one of the alternatives of sports practice in schools; encourage attendance and stay in school; stimulate the development of social, ethical and moral values; and promote the physical, personal and social development of children and adolescents;In its first edition, the project lasted a total of 12 months, benefited 155 children and was executed in two schools of the municipal network of Maranguape.
