Cocina Cinco Fuegos es una colección privada, fundada por Lilia Martinez y Torres, en 2015. Contiene 9 fondos: utensilios de cocina, objetos de comedor, libros, recetarios manuscritos, textiles para el comedor y la cocina, fotografías y gráficos, de más de un siglo. Tiene el compromiso de conservar, investigar, exhibir y divulgar lo que resguarda. Está ubicada en Puebla, México, ciudad fundada en 1532. Es un espacio de encuentro que motiva a la reflexión, sobre la rica herencia de nuestra nación multicultural. Con una visión particular, e inspirada por la Gastronomía Mexicana, declarada Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad, por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura, en 2010, convoca a Curadores y Fotógrafos, miembros de la sociedad civil, a mostrar la Gastronomía de Puebla. En un conjunto de exposiciones de diversas facetas, presentamos lo más significativo de nuestra cocina: a las personas detrás de la gastronomía poblana, con platos tradicionales y vanguardistas, así como a los agricultores y sus cultivos. A los sabores, devenidos en manjares únicos para el paladar. Las celebraciones tradicionales alrededor de la mesa, de familias y de comunidades. También a la cultura regional, con su historia e identidad ancestral y viva, donde convergen las diferentes herencias de un país tan heterogéneo como es México. Definitivamente, las sendas de los cruces culturales en la cocina, son un legado que pertenece a toda la humanidad. Cocina Cinco Fuegos is a private collection, founded by Lilia Martinez y Torres, in 2015. It contains 9 collections: kitchen utensils, dining room objects, books, handwritten cookbooks, textiles for the dining room and kitchen, photographs and graphics, of more than a century. It is committed to preserving, investigating, exhibiting and disclosing what it protects. It is located in Puebla, Mexico, a city founded in 1532. It is a meeting space that motivates reflection on the rich heritage of our multicultural nation. With a particular vision, and inspired by Mexican Gastronomy, declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity, by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, in 2010, it summons Curators and Photographers, members of civil society , to show the Gastronomy of Puebla. In a set of exhibitions of various facets, we present the most significant of our cuisine: the people behind Puebla gastronomy, with traditional and avant-garde dishes, as well as the farmers and their crops. To the flavors, turned into unique delicacies for the palate. Traditional celebrations around the table, families and communities. Also to the regional culture, with its history and ancestral and living identity, where the different heritages of a country as heterogeneous as Mexico converge.
